Here’s a recipe that I found on tipnut for a cleaner that I use to clean my granite countertops in the kitchen. It works great, and disinfects well!
Ingredients:
2 cups water
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 tsp pure castille soap (peppermint, etc.)
3/4 cup hydrogen peroxide
20 drops tea tree oil
20 drops lemongrass essential oil
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a 32-ounce plastic spray bottle.

why the tea tree and lemongrass oil?
Hi! Tea tree is a natural disinfectant, I LOVE the smell of lemongrass and a little oil gives a nice shine to my countertop. They’re optional though. You can substitute another fragrance if you want or eliminate them completely.

I thought vinegar wasnt safe for marble countertops. The new place Im renting has marble countertops… I definitely dont want to ruin the homeowners countertops
@Oju I’ve never heard that. I have marble countertops and I use the stuff all the time. If you use it straight it might dull them, but this mixture works great on mine.

I have read soooooooooooo many granite home counter top cleaners, so body suggested vineger, in fact some said, it is harmful to the granite
@Sandy really? I’ve never heard that vinegar was harmful to granite. I mean, people cook with it on top of granite coutertops, so I wouldn’t think it would be harmful. Hmmm…
