One of the fun things that has happened since I started this blog is that people send me free products to review. Well Camille Bell of Halona Bell Natural Products is on to something! She uses all-natural ingredients with no parabens, cones, sulfates or other icky stuff! For those of you not adventurous enough to make your own stuff, but still want to use healthier beauty products, this is for you. She sent me a few of her new products to try…

Here’s my review of Halona Bell’s Products:

Healing for the Sole

Healing for the Sole  $10.00 (4oz.)

This is a nice thick soothing foot cream. I slathered this on one night, put socks on and woke up to really soft feet! This is a step up from the shea butter that I usually use, and all the ingredients are all natural! This would make a great gift.

Ingredients:  Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Tamanu Oil, Vegetable Emulsifying Wax, Beeswax, Lecithin, Lanolin, Peppermint Hydrosol, Rose Hydrosol, Distilled Water, Fragrance with Pure Essential Oil
Rating 4- Smart  (great product! just wish you got 8oz. for $10)

Lemon Ice Hand Scrub

Lemon Ice Hand Scrub $8.00 (4oz)

I never thought I needed a scrub just for my hands, but now I see what makes this different, the dead sea salt is really soothing and more exfoliating than what you’d use on your face. I might even use this on my feet! The fragrance smells like lemon oil.

Ingredients: Dead Sea Salt, Sunflower Oil, Fragrance with Pure Essential Oils

Rating 4- Smart (great product! just wish you got 8oz. for $10)

Tree Nail Gloss

Tea Tree Nail Gloss $6.50 (1oz)

This product doubles as hand salve, and it did leave my nails nice and shiny and my cuticles soft.

Ingredient: Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Tamanu Oil, Beeswax, Tea Tree EO, Calendula EO

Rating 2-  (good product but pricey for such a small amount)

Body Pudding

Body Pudding $10 (4oz.)

This pudding has the smooth consistency of body lotion, and  it seemed a little thin to me at first, but then I realized that it was really emollient. It smells nice and sweet too. And of course it has all natural ingredients.

Ingredients:Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Red Rooibos Tea, Carrot Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Beeswax, Vegetable Emulsifying Wax, Rose EO, Patchouli EO, Jasmine EO

Rating 4- Smart (great product! just wish you got 8oz. for $10)

*Savvy Ratings:  5=Savvy  4=Smart  3=Sensible  2=Satisfactory   1=Stupid
