Now you know I’m a DIY kinda gal, but I occassionally will buy things that I can’t make, especially if those things are creative, show ingenuity and I have a little extra spending money. Enter: Tomoka’s Twists. I first heard about TT on YouTube, and I’ve been tracking her ever since then. But it wasn’t until she showed up on the Sunday Nappturalite Radio Show, that I learned her name isn’t Tomoka, it’s Mimi, and the biz is named for a favorite family member). Then I started following her on twitter, I found out how friendly, and down-to-earth she was. Well I finally ordered a “twist” for myself, and every time I wear it I get nothing but compliments! The twist is actually covered wire, that has beads on the end. Here’s the one I ordered:

These twists work as headbands, and ponytail holders and work on all types of hair. There are a several twists to choose from, and she also sells earrings and other types of hair ties. Prices start at $12 and there is always something on sale!
