@Monique Hi! Hmmm...I would add the oil a little at a time, If you don't use a whole lot, and mix it well with the conditioner it should be fine. MAke sure to add some water in there too. But leave out the mousse, because it'll probably make everything separate. Depending on what style your wearing, gel would probably work best. If you're trying to make your twist out last, spritz your hair with the condish first, then put a little gel in your hands and draw your palms down each one. Let it set for a few minutes, then untwist and style as usual.

I always like to use straight aloe gel. I have a ton of organic aloe gel from Lilly of the Desert that I received after volunteer at a sanctuary event. This stuff is great for everything, your skin, your gums, sores, rashes, inflammation...it's like a miracle plant.

I do this too, but silly me...I had been using just conditioner and water. It works, but it doesn't give me the shine I'd like. I'll add some coconut oil to my mixture today, along with some essential oils. I tend to use EO Rose & Chamomile or Rosemary & Mint conditioner as my leave-in. I used to use Herbal Essences Hello Hydration, but I like the EO better, and they contain MUCH fewer chemicals than HE.

I've been looking for an all-natural leave in condish. This recipe is sooo good! Instead of using water, I used aloe vera juice. OMG, this one is a keeper.
